I'm matching Ann Harrold Taylor's painting, "Safety Rope" on display in the Manetti Shrem's current exhibition "Wayne Thiebaud Influencer: A New Generation."

Of the 90 works featured in the exhibition, Ann Harrold Taylor's (MFA '85) piece especially stood out to me for its energetic composition and exaggerated forms. You must see this piece in person! Ann says, "painting for me is alive when I am suddenly and unexpectedly stopped in my tracks and want to follow the clues of color, subject, abstraction, light, dark, variable weights..."
