Clay Vorhes

This piece + this dress!

I'm dressed to match Clay Vorhes' painting, "Trapeze Canopy" from 2020 on display in the Manetti Shrem's current exhibition, "Wayne Thiebaud Influencer: A New Generation."

I really believe that my "Jetsons" dress and this Vorhes painting were meant to find each other... they just needed my "matchmaking" skills to make it happen! I often feel this way about my matches and honestly what fuels my patience is the immense satisfaction I get from bringing two seemingly unrelated pieces of art and clothing together!

The 90 works in this exhibition, however, are anything but unrelated. Whether you are fan, a former student, a collector, or are just learning about Wayne Thiebaud because of my constant "fan-girling" on IG - this exhibition really puts the influence of Thiebaud the teacher into perspective!
