Ellsworth Kelly
I returned to SFMOMA today to shoot a new match with Ellsworth Kelly’s painting, Spectrum I, 1953!
I previously matched the painting here; at the time, I thought it was probably one of the best matches I had ever done! When I came across this incredible Christopher John Rogers dress it immediately reminded me of the piece and I had to make the match happen!
There was no need to color-match the painting with the dress in Photoshop or tweak the final image - it’s a perfect match.
